Fun in the Sun

I've been promising my sister I would make a post, so now I am finally fulfilling that promise.

Here are some of the highlights of my life over the past few weeks:

One weekend during Spring semester we drove up to Salt Lake to visit Cade.  After getting at little lost and making a quick stop at a gas station to grab some snacks, we went and played a hole of glow-in-the-dark golf.  It was my first time real golfing and I could definitely use some practice, but it was fun to watch the ball fly through the night sky.

Another weekend I went to the Eagle Mountain rodeo with Quintin and Jason.  It was Jason's first rodeo, and it was a good one!  We even got to see the little girl who won the mutton riding event or whatever it's called.

On one of our last weekends we had a crazy fun BBQ at Elise's house. We invited all our friends we made over the year and ate delicious food, had an ultimate game of ultimate frisbee, had a campfire, and finished the night off with an outdoor movie. 

It was so fun to see all our good friends and just get to do something fun with them all one last time. We are so lucky to have become such good friends with them all. They are the ones that made our year so memorable!!!

 

We also hiked the Y with our besties before we all parted. (Ben and Jay came too, but they were at the bottom of the Y when we took this)

And Hayley came to visit too! It was sooo good to see her and hang out with her again. Oh, how I've missed her. While she was here we walked to Macey's to get an ice cream cone, went to Nickelcity where we all got blowdarts and had a fun war afterwards, and went to Pizza Pie Cafe.  So fun!

And perhaps best of all, Cosette got married to the love of her life, Matt.  She had an open house in our backyard and then they got married the next day in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. The weather was perfect on both days and it was fun to see family and friends again.  She looked gorgeous and they were both so happy so it was a great few days!!
